Well come on, it wouldn't be a blog about Japan without some Engrish posts would it. I bought some Udon from the supermarket the other day (although they were labelled as Udong so it seems Tesco have their own translation issues). Anyway on the packet there's a rather lovely sentence...

"We will try our best with quality preference principle in the future"



NB: The noodles were actually produced in Korea! I'm not sure Udon is specifically a Japanese dish but it's where I know them from.
